Around 3:20pm on 04/07/2026, Fire 42 was dispatched to Coplay Borough for a reported brush fire

Brush 42, ATV 42 and Engine 42 went responding. ATV 42 was used for a wet down initially due to the hilly terrain.

Another brush fire was found north of the original call. Crews from Brush 5, 42, 45 (Allen Township) and Whitehall Township walked on foot and luckily only overhaul was needed.
